Employee Spotlight: Jason Asch

23 Years with Banko Beverage | 31 Years in the Beverage Industry

Some careers are built through opportunity, while others are built through dedication. Jason Asch has experienced both. With 31 years in the beverage industry including 23 years at Banko Beverage.

Jason's journey began in 1998 while he was still attending college, working at Royal Bottling cleaning floors and picking orders. What started as a college job turned into a lifelong career in the beverage industry. When Banko Beverage acquired Royal Bottling in 2003, Jason continued his journey with the company and has been an important part of the team ever since.

Although Jason doesn't have any family members working at Banko, he says he doesn't need to.

"Everyone here is my family."

That sense of teamwork has helped make his career especially meaningful over the years.

Outside of work, Jason has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 28 years. While they don't have children, they're proud parents to their beloved cats, who keep life entertaining at home.

When it comes to his beverage of choice, Jason keeps it classic.

Favorite Beer: Guinness 

Asked to choose a favorite memory from his time at Banko, Jason admits it's nearly impossible to pick just one. After more than two decades with the company, countless friendships and experiences stand out, but one tradition always rises to the top.

Favorite Memory:
"So many great memories and people, but the Scranton St. Patrick's Day Parades and rooftop parties were so epic."
