Originally opened in 1968, Buddy Clarke’s has long been a neighborhood staple. One of the most interesting parts of its history? There used to be a secret doorbell for Sunday entrance.
Today, the bar is owned by Gacy Hughes, with Mike Macciocco helping lead the way as manager. Mike has been part of Buddy Clarke’s for about 4 ½ years.

2025 has already been a memorable one for Buddy Clarke’s, earning recognition with a “Best of 2025” award! Being Banko North's top Guinness account, we presented him the top Guinness draft trophy for 2025. It’s the kind of recognition that reflects not just good drinks, but a great atmosphere.
